Trail is a dirt road flat and some hills, but the scenery is awesome. You will see woods, creeks, swamps, marshes, and the trail ends at a beach area for swimming. On a hot summers day it is a great way to be outside and not get too hot riding. There is shade most of the way. The trail is marked very well. About half way you will ride into to a parking lot but just keep going you will see the bridge to continue on the trail which is now a double track dirt trail. Watch out for the sandy spots(keep the speed up or you'll get stuck and have to walk out of it).
I-264 east to exit 19B for LYNNHAVEN PKWY. Turn RIGHT onto US-58 E / VIRGINIA BEACH BLVD. Turn LEFT onto GREAT NECK RD N. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto US-60 / SHORE DR. Right at First Landing State Park<br />2500 Shore Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23451, US. The entrance to park is on both sides of road, take Right entrance.
